About Clear Space Productions
refers to a focus on the process, knowledge and craft of performance, rather than elaborate production elements. The founders of Clear Space Productions, Inc., Doug Yetter and Ken Skrzesz, wish for audiences to leave performances with a deep understanding and appreciation of the humanity in theatrical performance the idea that we find ourselves in what appears on the stage.
The overall goal of the Lewes/Rehoboth Beach-based organization (non-profit under Federal Tax Code 501(c)3) is to train local talent through the Clear Space Arts Institute and support that talent with professionally produced theatrical opportunities, leading to a professional theatre company based in Southern Delaware (Clear Space Theatre Company).
Other components of Clear Space Productions include education and community outreach programs. In October, 2006, Clear Space Productions was granted Company-in-Residence status at Cape Henlopen High School. The collaborative agreement allows:
- Clear Space faculty to offer workshops to students and teachers
- Students to attend Arts Institute classes at a discount
- One free Theatre Company performance per year for students
- All Theatre Company performances to occur in one location
